Consultant Fertility Specialist

Job Description

HSFC is currently seeking a highly talented consultant fertility specialist. HSFC is committed to providing the very best in patient care and being able to achieve this standard depends heavily on the doctors. We are a private clinic offering a full range of treatments.

As fertility specialist you will work in close partnership with the director, medical staff and management team to manage and execute all aspects of patient care. You will perform consultations and procedures associated with fertility treatment, including egg collections and embryo transfers and have experience of planning and managing treatment.

You must be fully registered with the GMC (ideally with specialist register recognition) and have permission to work in the UK.

Experience required

  • Previous fertility experience, preferably in private healthcare
  • Significant experience at consultant/specialist level

Qualifications and training

  • Basic medical degree (Honours level) or MD
  • MRCOG
  • Full GMC registration, preferably on the specialist register

Full time and weekend work on a rotational basis.

Fertility Nurse

Job description

HSFC is currently seeking a highly talented fertility nurse to join its dynamic nursing staff on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Nurse within a private healthcare environment, ideally in a reproductive medicine or fertility setting.

Duties

Provide assistance clinicians and nursing staff, including but not limited to:
• Perform blood tests
• Assist with ultrasound scans
• Assist with IV drips
• Assist in theatre procedures
• Monitor patients in recovery after minor procedures
• Dispense medications to patients

Required experience and skills

• Registered Nurse – NMC pin number required
• Reproductive medicine experience is an advantage
• Phlebotomy experience
• Ability to canulate
• Experience of monitoring patients after sedation
• Excellent bedside manner

The role

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a clinical assistant or healthcare assistant within a private healthcare environment, ideally in a fertility, reproductive medicine or acute care setting.

Duties

Provide assistance to clinicians and nursing staff, including but not limited to:
• Perform basic patient assessments
• Perform blood tests
• Perform nurse’s consultation to go through treatment plans, check consent forms and pre-treatment screening tests
• Teach patients how to self-administer applicable medications
• Assist with consultants with ultrasound scans and other investigations
• Assist with IV drips
• Assist in theatre procedures
• Monitor patients in recovery after minor procedures

Duties

• Meet and greet guests courteously and warmly on arrival
• Answer, screen and transfer inbound telephone calls, take and pass on relevant messages and present an excellent image of the company in doing so
• Set up consulting rooms for the day and close up at the end of the day
• Manage the waiting and reception areas
• Schedule appointments for patients
• Enter patient information into computer systems
• Generate invoices
• Collect payments
• Keep records of payments
• Provide guests with coffee or tea

Egg donation coordinator

Harley Street Fertility Clinic, a leading private fertility clinic, is seeking an egg donation coordinator to join their highly successful egg donation team based in London’s prestigious Harley Street.

The role

The successful candidate will be highly personable and possess excellent communication skills. Previous fertility experience involving egg donation would be an advantage.
Candidates with clinical and non-clinical backgrounds will be considered.

Duties

Be an integral part of the Clinic’s active egg donation programme, including:
• Involvement with marketing and social media campaigns
• Contacting potential donors to explain the egg donation process
• Managing the recruitment of egg donors
• Managing the assessment and screening of egg donors
• Managing the waiting lists of egg donors
• Assist clinicians and the programme manager with matching of egg donors and egg recipients
• Be the main point of contact for egg donors throughout their treatment pathway
• Support egg donors throughout their journey
• Respond to queries from egg donors during their assessment and treatment
• Follow up with egg donors after their donation
• Reporting to management regarding performance of the programme

Hours
