32-year-old Denise had always wanted children, despite being told at an early age that this was biologically impossible due to her having Turner Syndrome, which is a genetic condition that affects 1 in 2000 women: these women are missing 1 copy of their X chromosome. Women who suffer from Turner’s syndrome have ovaries that do not work properly.

“My husband and I have been together for almost ten years and for a long time both of us had wanted to start a family. We were refused treatment by the NHS because of my condition and were finding the fertility route a very long and harrowing road. After researching lots of fertility clinics, we discovered Harley Street Fertility Clinic and were impressed by the clinic’s success rate.

“From the first appointment, we were delighted by the exceptional, friendly staff, all of whom have supported us all the way.

“I became pregnant on my second attempt. I hope to inspire other women who believe their situation is hopeless and encourage them not to give up. It can be really disheartening when some people seem to take having children for granted, however it does make it that much sweeter when it’s your turn!”

Denise gave birth to a beautiful baby, Annamaria girl last year.
