Forget perfume, scented candles, and chocolates, the Harley Street Fertility Clinic will be giving one patient a free round of IVF for Christmas.
While the prize won’t take away the anxiety or worry around fertility treatment, the full cycle of IVF, using a fresh or deferred embryo transfer, and including all medications and blastocyst culture, will hopefully ease the financial burden of treatment for the winning patient and take them a step closer to having a child of their own. 
This potentially life-giving, and life-changing opportunity, is open to anyone planning to undergo IVF using their own eggs. Not only do existing patients who make an appointment between 01 and 31 December qualify for entry into the lottery style draw, but new ones who register with the clinic and have an initial consultation during the same time period will also qualify. During those December appointments, as well as discussing their health concerns and treatment options, patients will need to specifically ask their doctor to include their name in the draw and sign the necessary paperwork.
Dr. Suvir Venkataraman BEng (Hons), PhD, General Manager at the Harley Street Fertility Clinic, said, “We give one patient a free round of IVF each year as a way of giving something back to our community, and this year we are offering it up to more people than ever. We understand that as well as being worrying and time intensive, IVF treatment can be a significant financial commitment, and add further turmoil to an already emotional journey, so this gift could really help take the pressure off.”

The winner will be drawn at random via a Facebook Live event on Friday 04 January 2019 at 5pm and their treatment will start before 31 March 2019.

Competition Terms and Conditions

• The prize DOES NOT include fertility check-ups, screening tests, adjunct treatments – e.g. ICSI, PGS.
• Initial or follow up appointments must be taken between 01 and 31 December at the Harley Street Fertility Clinic in London.
• Patients MUST ask to be entered, entry isn’t automatic.
• Treatment is to be started by 31 March 2019.
