According to the NHS website, “endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Endometriosis can affect women of any ages.”
Endometriosis is a long-term condition that can affect women’s quality of life and can lead to infertility.
There is no cure for endometriosis but there are treatments available that can help alleviate the symptoms.
