We are delighted to welcome to our HSFC family Mihaela Radu, Senior Embryologist. Mihaela has a BSc in Biology from the University of Bucharest and a MSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the same university.
Mihaela joins HSFC having had an impressive career and more than 15 years’ experience as a Senior Embryologist. Her broad experience includes all embryology processes such as egg retrievals, embryo transfers, In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Hatching (AH), sperm preparation, embryo culturing, embryo evaluation and monitoring, cryopreservation/vitrification of embryos, eggs and sperm, biopsy for Pre-implantation Genetics Testing (PGT) and lab processes associated with IVF urology procedures (e.g., TESE, MESA).
Mihaela has published scientific papers and speaks fluent English, Italian and Spanish.

About her job, Mihaela says: “My job’s biggest satisfaction is knowing that the embryo I created and cared for, transforms into a child’s smile that fills an infertility hole. Being an embryologist means passion, empathy, a true calling. I wanted to become an embryologist since college when I studied Developmental Biology. When I first entered an IVF lab, I felt I will fulfill my mission as a human being. To be an embryologist means to be conscious that the life seen through the microscope’s lenses depends on you. Every single day I experience the same feelings like the future parents: desire, hope, joy or, sometimes, sadness when failing.”
Mihaela declared that she is very happy to be part of such an esteemed clinic and she is looking forward to helping our patients.
