The subject of the Q&A was “Infertility after miscarriage” and took part on Wednesday 30th November at 5 pm. The audience asked questions that Dr Venkat answered.
Losing a baby through late miscarriage or still birth is an experience no one should experience. After a period of grieving, most patients return for another treatment. A very important part of their next fertility journey is making sure it doesn’t end in another heartbreak. Is treatment after loss possible? Are there any tests that can be done? Immune tests and treatment. Can late miscarriages and stillbirths be prevented? What is the role of progesterone? How can counseling help?
