Dr. Venkat will take part in an Instagram live session on Friday 5th June at 8 pm gmt. She will talk to our patients Nicola and Alex about their fertility journey, miscarriages and frozen embryos.
The unprecedented Coronavirus and lockdown had immense knock-on effects on fertility treatments, as clinics were advised to shut down. This led to many patients’ heartbreaks as assisted reproductive treatments including IUI, IVF, egg collection, and Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) cycles had to be postponed.
Our patients Nicola Manashe and Alex Reid were no exception and their journey came to a temporary halt in March 2020. With the amazing news that Harley Street Fertility Clinic will restart treatments, Nicola and Alex were also advised about their journey about to resume in the very near future.
At the beginning of their fertility journey, they were determined to blog their way through their IVF journey, and we are grateful to them for doing it so and raising awareness. They will continue to do so, so other people feel encouraged and learn from their experience.
