Harley Street’s Fertility Clinic IVF Treatment
Harley Street Fertility Clinic provides tailored IVF treatments, with our patients at the heart of everything we do. IVF treatment includes 5 different stages:
- Preparation: good preparation, just like many other things in life, is key to success. We complete assessments to make sure the next steps are uniquely tailored to each patient.
- Ovarian stimulation: this includes injecting stimulating hormones into the ovaries and then monitoring the response closely.
- Egg collection and sperm sample: eggs will be collected through a minor procedure and the male will produce a sperm sample. Alternatively, a frozen sample can also be used.
- Fertilisation and embryo culture: the fertilisation of the egg and sperm is the next step.
- Embryo transfer: if the embryos begin to develop, they are then transferred to the uterus.
Other fertility treatments with HSFC
If you’re looking to explore other options outside of IVF, we do provide a range of other treatments, which may be more suitable for your needs. These include:
- Intra-uterine insemination: when a woman is close to ovulating, this is the process of placing prepared sperm in her womb.
- Follicular tracking: this is one of the more inexpensive treatments, as it does not involve any drugs or stimulation of ovaries. This boosts a more natural assisted form of conception.
- Surrogacy: for someone who is unable to carry a baby themselves, then surrogacy may be a positive alternative. This involves a surrogate carrying the baby until it is born and then the baby is handed to the new parents.
